David Coscina 3
Based on the few moments played on the most recent FSM Podcast I'd say we're in store for a great score from Newman. I have desperately wanted him to revisit that lush broad style he implemented on Little Women bac in 1994 and I'm glad it sounds as though he really stretched himself on this one.Anyone heard any more from this upcoming release? Vaderbait1 1
I haven't heard anything on it, but since I'm not familiar with Newman and there's a serious drought in good scores lately, I'll give it a shot somewhere I can hear some of it for free. Morlock 9
I'm a bit worried about the project. Sounds too gimmicky to be really good. But the little I've heard of and about the score is certainly promising, and it is getting some press on the awards circut.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,251
It's 2006, why make a film the way they did nearly 70 years ago.Aren't things better now?
Morlock 9
Indeed. Unique artists like Michael Bay would have been spouted out by the system back then, just like Orson Welles. Thank god for the 21st century.
crocodile 6,294
But the score sounds REALLY good from this little preview. It could be the first Newman score that isn't disjointed. Now that's the moment i've been waiting for!Karol
SomeNewGuy 0
I'm interested. If Newman has really formed a coherent, solid work with the kind of material heard in FSM's podcast, then I'll most likely pick it up.
