Dole 11
Save the comments. It's not anything erotic in nature. It is however the title of a new 90 minute documentary that will be airing in July on Turner Classic Movies about the director's films. I'm assuming that there's bound to be something about John Williams in there. Anyway, I know it's still a long ways off but I thought I'd give everybody a heads up if you didn't already know. TCM is fantastic and so I expect this will be slightly better than something you might find about Spielberg on some other channel.Dole

Kendal_Ozzel 32
Awesome! This also probably means they'll be showing a lot of Spielberg's films then.Ozzel - who still has never seen Duel, Always, or even The Color Purple, all of which pop up on TCM occasionally. Dole 11
I don't think so. I think it's a TCM original production by the guy who did the "Men who Make the Movies" series. The same guy also did a feature on Woody Allen a couple of years ago for TCM that was good. Allen sat down and basically discussed each (or most) of the films he'd made. Richard Penna 2,084
I asked only last week why we don't have a tivo - HDD - DVD recorder combo (they have freeview & HDD).My dad told me they'll buy one as soon as some company starts making one...The shelves upon shelves of VHS we still have are purely for decorational purposes these days. jasonblueeyes 0
Will this be a book too? Like Scorsese on Scorsese or Lynch On Lynch. Those books are very candid as the filmaker's discuss in great detail their work, what they were going through personally at the time and how they see their films now. I think every major director should put such a book out.
