Quintus 5,391 Posted December 19, 2006 Share Posted December 19, 2006 I just spoke to my brother on the phone and he was keen to tell me about something that happened to him the other day: He was approached by somebody (in Manchester, UK) who asked him if he had any acting experience, the reason being he and the company he worked for was scouting for someone to play Tintin in an upcoming film adaptation! The company in question was Amblin (or did he really Dreamworks?) and the 'scout' told my bro that he looked the part to a tee!I haven't got a pic of my bro to show you just yet, but he has gone by the nickname of Tintin for much of his teenage life. I shit you not - he is the spitting image of him. Now though he is 25, yet he is still Tintin to look at!So anyway, my brother Richard gave his details and carried on with his day, quite oblivious. It was only when I told him the history of Spielbergs attempts to get Tintins adventures onto the big screen that my brother laughed at the whole thing!So anyway, I just thought I'd share this little story with you guys At the very least, does this mean that Tintin: The Movie is going to happen sometime soon?
