Luke Skywalker 1,793
Joe it's good you have your own opinion. But you state it as if all of us were wrong, and if williams could not write masterpieces anymore. And with this, i dont consider every recent williams work to be masterpieces but anyway they are much better than most composers work.
JWfangirl1992 18
HUZZAH!!! Memoirs is a beautiful score and it was defintiely deserving. Prayer for Peace was my absolute favorite piece from Munich, it is definitley powerful up in Schindler's List standards.

Quite a few actually. Hedwig's theme was nominated a few years ago and in 2000 he also won for Theme from Angela's Ashes. The Superman March, Star Wars Main title and E.T's flying theme all received grammys in this category.

BurgaFlippinMan 7
Not exactly Williams related, but what is the difference between record of the year and song of the year?
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,265
Record of the year considers an entire CD, so all the tracks, while song of the year only looks at a single track.

Dole 17
Not exactly Williams related, but what is the difference between record of the year and song of the year?Record of the Year is awarded to the producer and performer of a single song. Song of the Year is awarded to the person who actually wrote the song. Album of the Year is for an entire CD. At least I think that's how it works. The Grammys are confusing.
