Midi orchestra programming web sites?

Hey I know there are some of you out there familiar with programming midi for synthetic orchestras. Do you know of any good tutorials/informational web sites that can give me some details on it?

I'm familiar with using midi, but I'm curious to see tricks on how to make fake instruments sound as real as possible.

Perhaps ask David Vincent???

He creates his own MIDI files as well as collecting others author's MIDI works on his website. I don't know what program he uses but the sounds he uses and way he use them is almost as good as real as possible.
