I hope this is appropriate to post here:

This Saturday night, March 17, at 8pm in MIT's Kresge Auditorium (77 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge), I will be conducting the world premiere of a 9 minute movie soundtrack that I wrote, "Suite from an Imaginary Movie", performed by the MIT Wind Ensemble.

Also on the program is the world premiere of Concerto for Tuba (by Kenneth Amis of the world famous Empire Brass... he is among the top tuba players in the

world... and there will be a special encore of him performing a piece on tuba that is even difficult to play on piano!), and Concerto for Flute. There will be a reception with (free) food after the concert, which will be around 9:30.

You can get free tickets for the concert if you let me know you are coming. I will put them in an envelope at the place where you would normally buy tickets.

I hope some of my fellow film music fans can make it!
