gkgyver 1,645
It has Venom and the alien symbionte in it, it's going to be great, just great! Ever since I was a little kid I wanted this story to become a movie. I'm not entirely happy with the design of the black suit because it's nothing more than, well, a black spidey suit, and I expected it to be more like the original design in the comic book, but that can't stop me from loving this film. It's such a great story, no director could possibly destroy it. No chance.By the way, I get the impression that alot of people nowadays go to the movies just to bash and pick at them. Even during Casino Royale, when the end credits rolled, the first thing some people behind me said was "The problem of the film is ..."It's great entertainment, so shut up and enjoy! JoeinAR 1,949
hey what you think of potter is irrelevent, nothing changes the fact that the first two spiderman movies were mediocre, despite their huge boxoffice success, and 3rd time is rarely ever the charm in the movie industry.you laid a challange, I answered, don't be so smarmy next time. your letting your hideous avatar be your personality.I urge you to stopstill expect spidey 3 to top the boxoffice next week, and set new records, it is inevitable. Romão 2,274
I loved reading the Black Suit saga when I was a kid, and I would be much more optimistic if that was the centerpiece of the movie, which doesn't seem to be the case.I'll go and see it, even though I'm not the biggest fan of the two previous movies. It still is a lot of fun seeing these characters realised on the big screen.

Unlucky Bastard 7,782
In a certain other second sequel, Richard Pryor creates a tar-laced form of Kryptonite that turns Superman bad, and in Spider-Man 3, this icky stuff that looks a lot like tar (or even the black oil from The X-Files) turns Spidey bad! What a rip-off!

Morlock 11
That the two Spidey movies were mediocre is neither fact nor reasonable to say. While it is certainly not fact, it is very reasonable to state one's opinion about a movie. And personally, I agree that the first two were mediocre. By the way, I get the impression that alot of people nowadays go to the movies just to bash and pick at them. Even during Casino Royale, when the end credits rolled, the first thing some people behind me said was "The problem of the film is ..."It's great entertainment, so shut up and enjoy! What a simple post. "Shut up and Enjoy!"? I wish I could! But it's too darn bad for me to enjoy! And you say "even Casino Royale" What on earth does that mean? Has it been conclusivly proven that Casino Royale is a flawless film? I LOVED Casino Royale, and the first words that came out of my mouth were 'It's friggin' fantastic. The end slowed it down a bit and got a bit messy, but still, , the best Bond film since Goldfinger'. You have to realize that there are those who don't like the Spiderman movies, and that it doesn't make those people bitter cynics. You can argue in the films defence, certainly, but bringing arguments like the above ones just makes you sound like a fanboy with whom there's no point discussing the matter with. crocodile 7,998
I fear this movie has too many elements playing at once for its own good. There's no way they could make so many things that are essential to the Spider-man universe (symbiote, 3 villains, Gwen Stacy and love triangle) work at once. Nothing developed. There will be place only for endless cameos. It'll be hugely underwhelming, I'm afraid.Karol

Is it just me or is that a strange way to promote an album? If there is going to be a score release, chances are it might not come out until later in the summer like the other two Spider-Man score OST's since I believe they came out about two months after their films release. As far as the films go, I love Spider-Man 1 and 2 and I definitely CAN NOT wait to see Spider-Man 3. No doubt I will enjoy the film. For other people's opinions about the films I enjoy while others hate, I honestly don't give a damn about their opinions. It won't stop me from enjoying the shows.I've learned in the last few years that with the internet and message boards like this you will always have people who hate films you enjoy and will always bitch about em' whenever they get a chance. gkgyver 1,645
Well, I've just seen Spidey 3 and let me tell you: music-wise, this is by far - and by that I mean lightyears - the worst film I've ever seen. The tracking is SO bad, even the prequels stand out as jewels compared to this film!I do not exaggerate, and I mean that, when I say that approximately 10 to 15 minutes of Young score made it into the final picture. The Elfman pieces (and always the same ones!) got used so often, it actually made me nauseous. Rather tellingly, whenever Young is in the scene, rare enough, his score features variants on Elfman's stuff. The whole thing felt like watching a temp track peppered with music Christopher Young wrote in an early stage to give Sam Raimi some preview. About 80 % of the score is tracked, I still don't believe it. Even the main titles are a bad-flowing conglomerate of Elfman's original title music and Young's.You'd think a director sees it when the amount of tracking hurts the film more than any original score, as bad as it may seem in the eyes of the director.
