Whill 0
A special event is John Williams Conducts John Williams! On September 26, hear Star Wars, Harry Potter, E.T., and more, conducted by the famed film composer. To add to the excitement, special film montages will be projected onto screens while the orchestra performs.I just bought tickets for my first John Williams concert. "Williams will preside over a program of excerpts from his most famous film scores..." I asked the Columbus Symphony Orchestra if I could submit a request, and they said I had to contact John Williams to do that.Do any of you have a suggestion as to how to submit a request to John Williams? I'd really love to see "Duel of the Fates" live! Thanks.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,251
I suppose it would have to go through his agents. http://www.gsamusic.com/
Datameister 1,394
Don't expect too much when writing to him through his agency, though...in all likelihood, you'll get nothing more than a generic Q+A printout and maybe a signed photo. A secretary may even write you a semi-personalized response, but don't count on it. Besides, from what I know, there's really a series of stock "favorites," and anything beyond that is rarely if ever performed. Sad, because a lot of his very best work isn't part of that list. ChuckM 1
Duel of the Fates is likely on that list of "stock favorites" however. Although I wouldn't expect it with choir.
