David Coscina 3
Hey, if they'd listened to me, they would have gotten Anthony Minghella to do a Potter film which means we'd get a Gabriel Yared Harry Potter score. How cool would that be? Probably very different from Williams' efforts but I think it would be as cool.
Morlock 9
You've been saying that for years....I'd love to see it. I don't know why, but even though I am not a fan of Minghella's films, I have him in mid as a great director. Probably simply because I met him, and he was as nice as nice could be. But I'm really not a fan of his films. Only one of them has been effective in my eyes.
Elmo Lewis 6
What about the first half of Talented Mr Ripley?Pity you have to remember to turn the movie off before it turns into a pedantic, tedious snore-fest.
gkgyver 1,638
Umbridge's theme sounds so VERY familiar to me, I'm sure I've heard it someplace else, but I can't for the life of me remember where it comes from.
John Crichton 4
Well from what I remember from the snippets that were on the WB site Umbridge's theme sounded like a darker reworking of Gilderoy Lockhart's theme.

That was the movie I was refering to. I said effective, not that I liked it very much. They succeeded at making one of the most pathetic characters I've seen come to life. Although the movie is pretty much dead in the water when Jude Law is, well...dead in the water. I do like Yared's song from it very much, though. gkgyver 1,638
No, it's not Gilderoy Lockheart. I think it's a classical piece ...
