JoeinAR 1,949
OK, you have to design a concert of exclusively John Williams film music, within a strict set of rules1. It must be film music, not tv, not his other stuff.2. It cannot contain any Main Titles, or End Titles.3. It must be under 80 min.4. It must contain at least ONE of John's long pieces. Now go make an interesting faux concert.
Morlock 11
Is that no concert arrangements, or only no main/end titles?

Morlock 11
So you want him to spare expenses in his private, imaginary concert? It's not a question of expense, it's a question of quality. A 553 member choir will sound a lot worse than a 200 member choir.
Elmo Lewis 6
Worse, or two times and a half batter?I'd just go all the way and hire the U.S. military force to shoot at the sky instead of having plain old timpani sounds. Star Wars all right!

Marian Schedenig 8,191
It's still a considerably smaller choir than the one which first performed Mendelssohn's Elias, if the reports are to be trusted.

Marian Schedenig 8,191
What's a "live concert"?And I don't think a 2 hour concert is too long. 80 minutes is the bare minimum.
