indy4 152
Hans Zimmer's M:I-2 is probably one of the worst scores I own. There are only a few good cues. So my question is this: What's the best?My favorite is probably Mission: Accomplished, which I think it much better than the rest of the score. Then comes Nyah and Ethan, then Bare Island, which are okay. The rest are on par with the rest of the score (which isn't a good thing).Zimmer's effort was not totally wasted, IMO, although I sincerely wish someone else scored this movie. bondo 33
I didn't care for this score at all when it was released. For a long time it was my least favorite Zimmer score. Once I got the *ahem* more complete version, it's grown on me a little more. My personal favorites are:Intro/Airplane CrashLaptop MessageNyah and Sean Meet (by Klaus Badelt)"All I Needed to Hear" aka Sean's ThemeBiocyte Helicopter Jump (Film & CD versions)InjectionBare Island (by Klaus Badelt)The Badelt tracks are very similar to his work on Equilibrium, which was a far superior effort IMO. The CD was also poorly constructed, with Spanish music and techno music placed in favor of the brooding, orchestral music that Zimmer is known for. ChuckM 1
This is definately one of Zimmer's lesser scores. I really don't have a whole lot of good things to say about it. (And I'm generally a fan of MV).Elfman and Giacchino, however did a superb job with one and three, respectively.

By themselves, they are great scores, but I've heard better.
bondo 33
The only way I can enjoy M:I2 is to take it outside of the M:I series and treat it as a standalone John Woo film. And even then, it pales in comparison to his other films. I've read that there's an extended version that fills in the plot holes though.
Luke Skywalker 1,284
The Spanish scenes in Spain from this movie are embarrasing.More embarrasing is the point that neither Cruise nor (British!) Hopkins knew a shit about my country and read the shit line they were given without questioning them...
