All mixed bags. But good movies in all of them. How much did they cost you?

Me, personally?

Nothing.

My parents bought them. €69,99 a box.

I myself bought a box set with all four Jack Ryan movies today for 10 Euros.

I recently got The Rock and Traffic, both Criterion editions, online for a good price. I think the last movie I purchased in the store was POTC At Worlds End.

Been in London recently, finally bought the James Bond Ultimate Collector's Set of 42 DVDs. :D My girlfriend got Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Amadeus and Kieslowski's "colour trilogy" (Blue, White, Red).

So, plenty of stuff to watch these days ...

Me too! Though all I got so far was two Tommys - the DVD of the movie, and the SA-CD of the original album.

Also bought since Christmas (from elsewhere):

King Kong (1933)

Frankenstein, The Legacy Collection

Oliver Twist (David Lean version)

Blade Runner, Ultimate Collector's Edition

A Clockwork Orange

Get Carter

All the President's Men

The Silence of the Lambs

Witness

The Aviator

This Sporting Life

Extras, Series 2

Zodiac

Forbidden Planet

Phew. That plugged a few gaps in my collection, anyway. :)

Not just "another". This one had Williams' heart and attention, and I think you can tell if you listen carefully - or even, if you forget Williams wrote it and take a fresh approach to listening to it.

In case, I love the 21st century Williams style, so even if I agreed with you... not too shabby.

I love the score.

Didn't like the movie, though, and I didn't even like the score as much in the film as I did on album either.

Disappointing.

Really? I liked the score a whole lot more after seeing the film. I thought it worked wonderfully in a lot of parts.

Picked up recently the Zodiac DC, 3:10 to Yuma and Eastern Promises

Batman Saga (1989 - 1997)

Why?

I got it mostly for the first two films, which contain some decent special features. Plus, I didn't already have it.

But it has the two other film as well (I assume). huh.gif

Yes, but they are very inferior to the Burton films.

Forever has a few good moments, but it is overall pretty crappy. B&R is, well, you know.
