Lost in Space is the Titanic hater's hero after the movie Lost in Space finally knocked Titanic from the top of the boxoffice charts back in the first week of April, 1998. Titanic haters from all over the world are massing for the 10 anniversary and to revel in the glory the film Lost In Space is.

Guest in attendance will be William Hurt, Gary Oldman, Joey Tribiani, Mimi Excruise, Porn Star Heather Graham, origianal tv series Lost in Space stars, June Lockhart, Bill Mumy, and Nancy Cartwright(substituting for her less famous sister). Guy Williams and Jonathan Harris have declined to appear for reasons unknown. Surprise attendee's James Cameron and Leonardo DiCaprio surprised the crowd as they laid down laurels in honor of their boxoffice defeat against this now classic film. "I may be King of the World" said Cameron, "but Prof. Robinson is King of the Universe." DiCaprio was there strictly as Heather Grahams guest. Also in attendance was the film's composer, Oscar winner John Williams, who composed other memorable film scores such as Pete n Tillie, Conrack, and Not with My Wife you Don't. John conducted the theme from his Oscar winning score to the film using the Bill Conti Orchestra.

Helicopters were abuzz in the air, as fans and stars alike were gathered. Paparazzi were working the crowd, as hundreds of tv stars, movies stars, and porn stars re-celebrated the defeat of Titanic.

"It is a special occasion" said Steven Spielberg, "Titanic is a mess of a film, its way too long, and poorly edited, the acting is attrocious, and James Horner's score is a rip off of another better rip off." Luckily a brilliant little film like Lost In Space came along like an iceberg and sank Titanic.

Spielberg pal George Lucas, "Steven's right, Titanic is a disaster, but it was a good lesson for Hollywood, that films should focus on story, and character. Character development is a must. Also a film without a tight central story dissolves into chaos. Cameron obviously got caught up in his visuals, and because of that his film suffered. As you can see the price he's had to pay too, he's given up the film business, he'll never work in this industry again."

While the celebration was tremendous, sadly tragedy was not to be avoided as when this

was shown to the crowd, which reacted badly, people went fleeing, screaming and thrashing. In sheer panic hundreds were trampled to death. One man was so badly trampled that only his lower torso remained. All traces of his upper body were stamped into the ground or on the bottom of peoples shoes.

If anyone has any doubts about why Joe is so respected on this forum they should read this thread.

Joe is respected?

Joe is like that old uncle who went to prison for stealing a car while drunk, sold pot to Joe Cocker just before Woodstock, joined the foreign legion, and got married late in life to a 25 year younger lap-dancer named Mimi.

It's great having him around, but he's hardly respected.

Part cynical, part sarcasm, part satire, part film criticism and part gruesome horror.

Yeah, it's absolutely classic Joe!
