Delorean90 23 Report post Posted January 5, 2009 I'm bored, any requests? How about a series of similar-styled covers for all the Star Wars scores, including also video game scores, such as The Force Unleashed, Knights of the Old Republic, Knights of the Old Republic II, and Shadows of the Empire?Sounds interesting. Rpvee, what is it you're after? This probably won't appeal to most, but I thought I'd throw it up anyway. An attempt to do something a bit different.Where'd you get that track list, Charlie--is that from a DVD rip, an actual boot, make-believe, or what? Charlie Brigden 4 Report post Posted January 5, 2009 It's from a bootleg that's made the rounds. I believe it's a mix of edits from the OST and a DVD-rip, although I'm not 100% certain. However, 90% of the names are tracks I renamed.

(I made to complete scores, one with the alternates and the songs in spanish)Very nice. I like the back cover image a lot. My only issue is with the placement of text. It seems a bit out of balance, and doesn't seem to fit with the layout at the moment. But solve that and you're golden.

Charlie Brigden 4 Report post Posted January 7, 2009 Layout and placement of text is always one of the things I find hardest when designing a cover. It can be a nightmare with some covers, and sometimes you just have to decide what's important to put on there without affecting the overall look Here's one I just had a bit of fun with (need to fix the Columbia logo on the spines though). Pieter_Boelen 526 Report post Posted January 9, 2009 Absolutely awesome job! Thanks very much! Not sure, when I find time to do the backs (especially since the track-listings will most probably vary, depending on what you put on your expanded sets). If you make them without tracklistings at all, people can just add their own on top. Trent B 276 Report post Posted January 10, 2009 Damn it... they totally revamped the official site for The Matrix. I wanted to download some of the photos from there so I could redo my covers for all three Matrix scores. I can't right click and save the photos in the gallery section any more like I used to. Does anyone know how to work around that? They use adobe flash player...and the site is http://www.whatisthematrix.com

Trent B 276 Report post Posted January 10, 2009 PrintScreen and Paste in Paint or something like that?Tried that doesn't work because you still got the little icons on that main screen and everything else.

Trent B 276 Report post Posted January 12, 2009 Charlie the First Contact cover looks good however, your First Contact score for the first disc isn't complete. It should be 30 tracks not 28.01. Main Title02. Locutus03. The Enterprise-E04. Battle Watch05. Red Alert06. Temporal Wake07. April 4th, 206308. The Phoenix09. First Sign Of Borg10. 39.1 Degrees Celsius11. Approaching Engineering12. Retreat13. The Borg Queen14. Assimilation15. Welcome Aboard16. The Gift Of Flesh17. Definitely Not Swedish18. Watch Your Caboose, Dix19. Fully Functional20. The Dish21. Bridge Argument22. A Quest For Vengeance23. Evacuate24. The Escape Pods25. All The Time26. The Starship Chase27. Resistance Is Futile!28. Victory Over The Borg29. First Contact30. End CreditsMain Title and Locutus should be two separate tracks. What's presented on the OST are actually alternates especially for Locutus. You're missing "All The Time" too. Charlie Brigden 4 Report post Posted January 12, 2009 Well, I combined tracks 1 and 2, and 'All The Time' on mine is on disc 2 with the alternates.
Trent B 276 Report post Posted January 12, 2009 All The Time was used in the film and should go where I have it listed. It should be in with the main score, not on Disc 2 and it's not "unused".

Trent B 276 Report post Posted January 14, 2009 I did some quick simple covers for my Jurassic Park III score. I reinserted the missing bits from the rear channel DVD rips and some tracks go into each other just like in the film.
Nick Parker 2336 Report post Posted January 14, 2009 My opinon may be tainted by my opinion of the film, so take this criticsim with a "grain of salt", Trent. The front cover and the bottom picture look well enough, but I do not like that top-left picture there.
Trent B 276 Report post Posted January 14, 2009 That's just your opinion but the covers I do are mostly for myself and it's the picture I wanted to have. If you don't like it, you don't have to use it plain and simple.

Trent B 276 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 I have finally finished up my own custom covers for the complete scores for The Matrix Trilogy. I've edited quite a few of the cues from all three scores to run into each other like they do in the film in case if anyone was curious about that. I've definitely nailed down resizing things properly now. These are of course not the full size ones, I think photobucket has resized them.
Charlie Brigden 4 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 Very well done. My only issue is with the font. I don't think it fits the aesthetic of The Matrix very well. I like the cover of the first one very much, it's quite striking.
Luke Skywalker 602 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 Looks very good. But isn't it rather similar to the real OST, apart from the reddish background? Its the original poster, without the oversized Vader mask mad in 'post-production'And the text layout fits EpII.Which i think, i will make EPI and the OT to match that
Charlie Brigden 4 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 I have to say, I think the original is better. Using that poster is a great concept, as the image is better, but it looks muddled the way Vader's face is masked (pun intended) by the Star Wars logo. Using that poster is a great concept, as the image is better, but it looks muddled the way Vader's face is masked (pun intended) by the Star Wars logo.I can's change that, as the helmet is not complete and i cannot lower the picture.... Charlie Brigden 4 Report post Posted January 20, 2009 Something I knocked up based on the original ESB LP cover:Not great, but due to it being a book cover, the style of the painting is completely different to the posters, so it doesn't have the black border etc, and all efforts to do so looked terrible. Charlie Brigden 4 Report post Posted January 21, 2009 "Original Videogame Soundtrack"?Yeah, I know. I was trying to figure out what to put above the title, and went from 'Original Novel Soundtrack' to 'Original Media Project Soundtrack'. So instead, I just went for the video game. It just seemed to fit better, even if it is incorrect.
