Goldsmithfan 3
As most people will say:What the hell is Flesh + Blood??? There's a movie for that score? Weird.Personally, I love it.
Pieter Boelen 633
The score is really good; I especially like the action music on there. I've never seen the film, though I would like to. By the sound of it, it is pretty gruesome and I probably wouldn't really like it, but I'd still be interested in seeing it one day. Could you tell me what's there to like about it? Morlock 9
It's Verhoven. How good can it be?
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,251
It's Verhoeven's unflinching take on Medevial Europe. Think of Robin Hood with his Merry Man reinvented as a gang of robbers murderers and rapists. It's rather a startling film, and probably one of the more realistic portayals of the moral mindset of the Middle Ages. The films gruesome rape scene is a masterpiece of film making and should silence any feminist accidentally watching this film about Verhoeven's supposed harted of women. AC1 3,565
Verhoeven made better films: See Basic Instinct, Zwartboek, Starship Troopers, Robocop.

#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,251
You passed the test Sir!Starship Troopers is brilliant as a satire, but only really works as a satire.Robocop works on different levels.Stefan Cosman - Watching The Sting, a movie made before most people here were born. Goldsmithfan 3
It's Verhoven. How good can it be?Spec-TACULAR!!!I count Flesh + Blood amongst his best, alongside Soldaat van Oranje, Zwartboek and Basic Instinct.I just wish I could find a poster with that wonderful tagline, "A mirror of our time." Truer words were never spoken.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 10,251
It certainly has one of the most eclectic cast I've seen. For some reason you just don't expect Kitty Courbois and Brion James in one film, nor Bruno Kirby in a medieval setting.
