King Mark 2,924
You have to take things into perspective. If your current ipod playlist is filled with Jablonsky,Harry Gregson Williams,John Powell,John Ottman...then yeah Indy4 is a masterpiece. King Mark 2,924
I mean it's a masterpiece compared to the regular modern fare (Narnia...) ,but in comparison to other JW scores it doesn;t rank as well

TIEfighter 0
Huh?He´s not surprised.Well, i kind of agree with Josh. Although Johnny definitely had better soundtracks in his career, i really believe that KotCS is as good as today´s soundtracks can get. I haven´t heard a better Soundtrack since at least PoA, maybe even longer!Besides, i believe the Soundtrack that many people in here are waiting for (a broad symphonic soundtrack filled with lots of impressive themes and variations of those, like Johnnie´s works in the 80´s) is never going to happen again. There´s no real need for it, and the entire movie industry has changed so much that it´s virtually impossible to write such a score.
King Mark 2,924
How about "Are you surprised King Mark is dissapointed with the new Indy score?"
Koray Savas 2,095
Surprised? No. He's a fanboy. As for King Mark, sure I'm surprised, cause you're a fanboy too.
King Mark 2,924
As for King Mark, sure I'm surprised, cause you're a fanboy too.I am critical of JW even if I am one of his strongest defenders against other composers.
Koray Savas 2,095
Still doesn't mean you're not a fanboy. You called yourself one too.
John Crichton 4
How about "Are you surprised King Mark is dissapointed with the new Indy score?"No, because I remember your initial reactions to RotS. Give it time.

Josh500 1,602
He gave it 5/5.Sorry Josh, couldn't resist Now, you have to note that JW is really a top-notch composer. On a scale of 1 to 5, pretty much everything JW writes will get a 5 from me, and pretty much everything Hans Zimmer writes will get a 1-3.Just because there are better JW scores (there are several!), doesn't mean I give this one a 4. This new Indy score is as good musically as we will ever get, probably, by JW or any OTHER composer.P.S. That's the 3rd time I find myself the subject of a poll this month! I'm not complaining...I have nothing bad to say about Josh, except that he loves exclamation points. Now, is that a bad thing? That's one of my many charms!!!!!! Surprised? No. He's a fanboy. As for King Mark, sure I'm surprised, cause you're a fanboy too.Yeah, I am a John Williams fanboy! And proud of it too... There, I've said it, now back to listening KotCS! Josh500 1,602
Read my first impression review in the "Official Indy 4 Score Thread," post #333.I've explained there why I gave KotCS 5 out of 5. He has a good taste. For once. What do you mean by "for once"? I always have good taste. In women as well as music!

RuBen_Kenobi 16
How about "Are you surprised King Mark is dissapointed with the new Indy score?"Yes I am. But I am pretty sure that with more listenings and after watching the film you are going to love it. Trust me, I have a strong feeling about it...
