Dole 11
I'm sure this has probably been discussed before, but the Indy mania this week brought back a question that's been bothering me. What is the music in the second part of "No Ticket" on The Last Crusade OST (the part that's not in the film)? Does anyone know what it was meant to underscore? Thanks. Guest macrea
The cut scene of Gilderoy Lockhart boarding the zeppelin.Sorry, couldn't resist. That section of LC seems to have had a lot cut out. Look how the German officer is seen outside and then is suddenly inside about to confront Henry. I wouldn't be surprised if the music that is in the film was moved around from where it was originally intended. There is also a scene having to do with destroying the zeppelin's radio that has to come in there, I guess right before the scene where they sit at the table and talk. Just before they board the biplane we hear one line of dialogue about it.

Pieter Boelen 633
I think there was even supposed to be a fight with a drunken air plane pilot. See "The Flying Ace" entry on this page.
Jay 27,216
I always thought the extra music at the end was just music concocted to flesh out the music for the OST, and not music for a longer cut of the scene... but I could be wrong
Delorean90 32
I'm pretty sure that last part is indeed for Indy cutting the communications. The phrase that immediately follows the last scored moment in the film matches perfectly with the next shot of the zeppelin. In the bonus features, there is also a brief behind the scenes shot of a comical fight between Indy and the Gestapo, played by Pat Roach. The Flying Ace wasn't actually supposed to fight Indy, though. Drunken, he was going to fly after Indy to shoot him down, but instead accidentally detachs the plane before it is started.
