Indiana Jones films always have the most creative ways to die, that's one of the best parts of the films, IMO. KotCS was no different. So what would be the best? Vote using this criteria:

1. Which looks the coolest / is the most fun to watch?

2. Which would be the worst to experiance?

Hmmm, I'd go with the heart ripping/dropped into lava for the most painful. You would burn to death halfway down the pit though, never actually reaching the lava itself.

The most fun to watch is definitely having all of your blood melt out of your body/face explode. Gotta love the Wrath of God.

Eaten by ants, followed by eaten by alligators.

Really, I don't think being eaten alive is at all cool. Think about all those tiny f--king ant teeth or whatever the f--k they've got . . . gnawing away tiny bits of you until there's nothing left.

Gross. Incidentally, I'm never going to South America; the hell with that place.

The ant scene was great. It's obviously CGI, but I bought the ants as "real" (real enough, anyways) after a few seconds because they were used extremely well, and moved extremely well. And they grossed me the f--k out.

nobody was eaten by alligators in any of the Indiana Jones films. However some were killed by crocodiles, which is not the same as an alligator.

I don't think anyone was beheaded by a propeller, I'd imagine he was more chopped since the blade hit his whole body.

And I agree Toht's face melting is the greatest death in all of the Indiana Jones death scenes.

On the back of the VHS box, Indiana Jones and Temple of Doom was lauded for being filmed on three continents. Sri Lanka stood in for India, and a great deal was filmed on the soundstages in England, so where's the third?

As I recall from the documentary on the fourth Indy DVD, when they needed to film the large reptiles in the canyon gorge, they went to Florida. Which would mean Temple of Doom used alligators as stand-ins for crocodiles.
