The new Indy figures

I saw a few Indy figures at Target last week and had to pick up the Crystal Skull Indy. They had a few others from Crystal Skull, Last Crusade and Raiders as well, but none of those were particularly interesting. I checked online to see what other figures were available and, just as I'd feared, there are no figures for Temple of Doom!

What's the story? Did that film traumatize that many children? I doubt it. There must be some reason... somewhere... somehow. But that still doesn't change the fact that I won't be able to buy a Mola Ram action figure.

:(

I stopped buying "collectibles" some time ago, I like this kind of junk but ultimately its a waste of money when you have real bills and soundtracks to pay for. I do buy the occasional toy or something to decorate my cubicle with though. I do hope to add Mola Ram and some other TOD figures later this year.

No Josh you're not. The Indy figures never really caught on when they were first released in the 80's but times have changed abit when it comes to collecting action figures.

I just collect Godzilla figures now but with the rising gas prices and my love of film scores I've also pretty much stopped with those.

In fact I'll probably end up selling all my Star Wars figures.

And since i was not able to buy an indy in the 80s...

As a kid, I had every single Raiders and Temple of Doom toy. The Raiders toys were fantastic!
