Goldsmithfan 3
That was nuts right? I didn't see that one coming. Got run over by his own son. That's life I guess. One second you're fighting hand-to-hand with a Russian and an extraterrestrial, the next second BLAMO! Some idiot sharing the same DNA as you runs your face over and then the end credits roll, scored by a powerful combination of the Nazi march from The Last Crusade and the Russian theme. The best part comes when they're combined of course. Made me poop my pants.
King Mark 2,924
I hate that the amazing music for that scene was left off the album

Wojo 2,442
I mentioned in another thread that at no point was Indy's life ever at any danger in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and here's why.In Indiana Jones, the Young Indy Chronicles are considered canon. That's why on the series release on VHS in the 90s, ToD, Raiders, and TLC were given chapter numbers (in that order) and slapped at the end of the Chronicles.Harrison Ford portrayed Indiana Jones in the Season II episode "Young Indiana Jones and the Mystery of the Blues." Otherwise George Hall would narrate the show as 93-year-old Indy reminiscing about his childhood adventures. That made Indiana Jones invincible in Indy IV: killing him would violate the continuity of the entire Young Indiana Jones franchise......EXCEPT for the fact that in the Young Indy DVD retoolings, all of the 93-year-old Indy reminisces have been removed. Is this an attempt by Lucas to turn the show from a flashback show into a straight-up narrative, and open the door to killing off Indy? I hope not. He didn't kill him in Indy IV, so that would mean he could die in a future Indiana Jones or Mutt Williams/Jones spin-off movie. Oh good grief. BurgaFlippinMan 7
I found it to be terribly disappointing. Koepp really screwed it up by having him nuked in a fridge. What a lameass demise. I prefer Darabont's version where he gets eaten by a gigantic snake instead. Feels more Indy...
FattyMcButterpants 1
What are you talking about? Of course Indy dies! At least that's what people who live in the 80s keep telling me.
Quintus 5,391
The bit where Indy and Mutt tag-team Marion wasn't graphic enough imo, such a let down.
indy4 152
I was more dissapointed when I found out that Sean Connery turned out to be Marion's son.

But then he wouldn't be "Indiana" Jones now, would he? Cue the banjo.
