Has anyone else read this book? It's absolutely fantastic. It covers every aspect of film scoring and has MASSES of excerpts from unreleased film scores. I was amazed to find excerpts of cues from A.I. (2M1 Reading the Words, Cryogenics, Hide and Seek, etc.), The Matrix, Minority Report, Close Encounters, etc.

It also has many resources from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, including a fairly complete cue list.

The Foreword is written by John Williams.

Just thought I'd bring this textbook to awareness for any of you who aren't aware of it as it's seriously brilliant.

I've used that book a few times for various papers and projects in school. I never sat down to just read it, but I remember it being very interesting and informative.
