OH MY GOD, I can't believe there's someone on this board who doesn't own A.I. and Memoirs yet.

Get them all (even Minority and Tibet), right now!!! Trust me, you won't regret it. :)

A.I. is the best score of all the ones mentioned in this thread so far, not counting Schindlers List.

How is "Seven Years In Tibet"? (I am pushing my budget here....)

The theme is wonderful, the rest of the score never did much for me.

A.I. and Memoirs are great (the former more so), the cream of the crop when it comes to modern non-franchise Williams.

For the uncommon score, I heartily recommend Monsignor. It is lush, gorgeous, memorable, richly thematic, and heartbreakingly dramatic.

I agree with all of the above.

Memoirs of a Geisha - YES!

Seven Years in Tibet - YES!

A.I. - yes

Cinderella Liberty - rather yes, unless you can't stand non-symphonic Williams

Minority Report - not really, unless you really want. I don't like this score very much.

"Regaining a Son" and "Leaving Ingrid" are pretty great, too, the former more so.

Still, the first track alone is worth the price of admission...

OK, now we're getting somewhere. Get the first three Indys, all three Potters, and Star Wars I (the UE if possible, flawed though it is at least it's somewhat "complete") and II, in that order, and thank me later. :)

As for the "Indiana Jones Trilogy", I am waiting for Concord's rerelease of the albums.

i was going to suggest that.

Just in case you were going to make the mistake of trying to find the original expensive albums.

I know all about not being able to afford the whole Blue Box.

I'll let you hold mine.

And if I just happen to...take it home with me just long enough to say, burn some stuff, and then mail it back to you, it's all good, right?

...What?

Those are harder to find than the McGuffins Indy chases.

These need to be added before you go any further:

1. Superman: The Movie (the Rhino 2CD set is still a very fine set)

2. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
