Was Williams parodying his own score to Midway in the March from 1941?

He did parody Jaws, though.

Definitely. And there are also a couple phrases throughout the score, that sound like they might be slightly parodying some of his other pieces. But then I could just be imagining things.

The Jaws cue heard in the film is lifted directly from Jaws. The original version Williams recorded for that scene is a bit more subtle.
