Naïve Old Fart 12,762 Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 You couldn't pay me enough to see that!
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 11,939 Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 She has the right facial features for the role actually
Edmilson 11,810 Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 With her as Ripley, we would get our first John Williams Alien score Giftheck and Nick1Ø66 2
Edmilson 11,810 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 If they get Goldenthal out of retirement to score this movie, then I'll be interested, otherwise...
Glóin the Dark 1,807 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 I’m not generally keen on sequels or prequels, but Michael Mann warrants automatic interest.

Jay 45,403 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Variety says Ocean's 14 will film next year with Clooney, Pitt, and Roberts all returning Bet they feel stupid now for inventing a sister character for Clooney's character in Ocean's 8 who believes him to be dead And I guess the Margot Robbie / Ryan Gosling Ocean's prequel film is dead Naïve Old Fart 1

I'll be a little disappointed if Bullock isn't in it at all. tomsmoviemadness 1

Jay 45,403 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 The ending of Ocean's 8 with her toasting him at his burial site felt like it was setting up for him to come walking around the corner alive but then, just nothing happens instead
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 11,939 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 That film didn't do so well, iirc.

#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 11,939 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Its all about box-office unfortunate.
Naïve Old Fart 12,762 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 I like all the Ocean's films (I haven't seen '8', though). '14' must have Clooney, Pitt, Roberts, Garcia, Gould, Cheadle, Affleck, Caan, "the little Chinese guy", Zeta Jones, and Damon.

Edmilson 11,810 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 I only like Oceans 11. 12 is dogshit (save for the bit where Julia Roberts plays herself) and I don't remember anything about 13. Haven't seen 8 though.

I was no longer interested. Especially since I didn't care for the sequels. So even if it had the same cast as 11 I wouldn't have seen it.
Tallguy 7,056 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 13 was a Hail Mary pass after 12. And it was actually pretty good. But there is 11 and there is everything else.

#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 11,939 Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 Moreso than money, there's a need for content. Every single day now
Edmilson 11,810 Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 So they began testing the waters for the inevitable Frozen remake. I thought they'd wait at least a few more years before opening the 2010s vault. Problem is: after they remade all their (few) 2010s animated hits (Moana is on its way, now there's Tangled, Frozen, maybe Wreck-it Ralph), what will be left for them? Oh, I know! Spoiler

Edmilson 11,810 Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 See, this is why we don't get nice things. When Hollywood does something good no one watches, but when they do these nostalgia cash grab lazily produced slop, it makes almost a billion at the box-office, so they'll need to do more to appease their shareholders!
