Red 75
Still, the tournament is supposed to determine JWFans' favorite JW theme(s). And the results are sorta skewed if you vote for something that isn't your favorite theme. But I'm not doing that, actually it's the opposite. There are so many themes that I'm a fan of that it's difficult to narrow them all down to ten (even without franchises).

John Crichton 4
I did that on my list for the first tournament too. I wanted to have a varied list so I forced myself to just a couple Star Wars, a couple Indy, etc. Basically no more than 2 themes per franchise. Though I think I ended up with 3 Star Wars anyway. Ray Barnsbury 8
Avner's Theme/A Prayer for Peace from MunichAren't those different themes?Nope; "A Prayer for Peace" is the orchestral concert arrangement of Avner's Theme. There's also a guitar-dominated track that's actually called "Avner's Theme," so that may be the source of confusion.
John Crichton 4
So I should combine votes for Avner's theme and A Prayer for Peace?I have combined votes for the Orca theme and the Shark Cage Fugue since no objections were raised to the idea. There were a couple of people that voted for both, feel free to add another theme, just let me know what it is.

John Crichton 4
Just your friendly reminder that there's about one week left to submit nominations. I'm going to be gone all week (starting in just a few minutes here) so this is the last chance I'll have to pester everyone. Hopefully others will take care of that for me. John Crichton 4
Yes. There's been, what, 9 or 10 people that have submitted nominations, and none during the week I was gone (other than Marc, which was right when I left). I know it's easier to click on a poll option that to actually write one of these things up, but the level of participation is far below what I'd thought it would be. John Crichton 4
Yeah, maybe. I didn't even think about doing one this way until you and some others mentioned it. John Crichton 4
So, right now there's a 5 way tie for 4th place (the last bye) and 6 themes tied for the last two bracket spots. Anyone want to help with that? You've got till Sunday. Thanks. BTW, VP Barnsbury has created another wonderful group of logos for the new tournament. In fact better than the last ones, in my opinion. I can't wait to unveil them.
