Really, the first rule of successful podcasting is regularity and frequency.Well, from first hand experience keeping a podcast or internet radio show up to date isn't as easy as you think it is. Usually other things far more important get in the way. It could be numerous things... family, other obligations, work, etc. While I too would love to see them update their podcast more often, they do have a web site to run, a monthly on-line magazine to publish, CD's to produce and various other assignments to do that we know nothing about. Plus, recording, editing, uploading and updating the RSS feed isn't a snap of the fingers job. Producing a really good podcast or radio show is very time consuming. I produce an educational podcast for children, replete with sound effects and voice actors on a monthly basis. I write the scripts, do the recording, the all the editing, enhance it with photos, upload it, and update the rss feed myself. And it is not my main job either. It takes about 10 hours to do a 20 minute episode. It is low on my list of responsibilities in my regular job, and every once in a while, I miss a month. So, yeah, I get it. But I still wish we'd get the FSM podcast with a little more regularity.EDIT: Eirk, I just checked out your links, and there looks to be some nice stuff to listen to! More than I knew was out there. You'll have to excuse my relative lack of familiarity with some of it, as I've sort of been "out of it" for a few years. But I'll be checking some of your own stuff out. Looks great!
