Can't wait til when she beats some Chinese chess nerd in Season 2!

They'll have to get creative for S2 because S1 was a book adaptation.

There's very little original score in the Twin Peaks revival.  It mostly tracks in cues from the original series for score.  There are a lot of band performances at the bar though.

I have the ost and there is some great NEW music on it.

Hope it gets used in some eps

I know.

Just checking to see you're paying attention!

I checked LOVECRAFT COUNTRY at the same time.

Maybe I'll switch off

The drummer can't keep up with.the band. The trombones are out of time.

It's brickwalled to death.

Sounds wunnerful!😁

I had to fast forward disc two - eps three and four- and it was still torture.

I'm done here.

I'll continue to enjoy the music for the series; the one that could have been if David Lynch had any real talent.

Episode 8 is good.

I'll take your word for it.😅

And they're probably the best and most well-paced episodes of the entire series. Buckle up.

My God, Quintus!

You were right!😰😵

Btw if anybody actually like it, I'm  truly interested in.your take.

If you don't like that classic Lynch nightmare assiciation stuff probably you won't like it. 8th episode was the one where my wife stepped out and I had to finish the show on my own.

Maybe after watching it you will consider my wife's taste to be better than mine.

The show has a handful of great moments. I am not sure if that justifies the whole show. Probably, Lynch should have taken the Mulholland Drive way and distill everything into one good 2-hour-movie.

Stick to The Queen's Gambit, Bruce. It's the only show you were able to finish and we all know it wasn't for the story.

Well it certainly wasn't for chess!

Three eps in LOVECRAFT is not working for me.

I guess cgi monsters , ghosts and ghouls just don't scare me anymore.

I’ve been watching and enjoying episodes of the old 70s medical drama Emergency!.  It’s too bad that there’s never been a release for Nelson Riddle’s music for the series, it’s good enough certainly for a highlights soundtrack release.

Great show.  As I understand it, it helped garner nationwide support for paramedics programs.  Always enjoy watching it when it comes on.  Used to watch it daily a few years back.

Has there ever been a more 70's name for an actor than Randolph Mantooth?

I love these old drama shows because unlike today they would cast actors that weren’t perfect Apollonian specimens but looked like average men.  More realistic.  More relatable.

Now Julie London on the other hand….  hubba hubba

It ended on season 5 or 6, which I've yet to watch actually. I've seen them all bar the final season.

The entire show just ended up being completely cyclical.

Oh, we have a problem to solve, ok struggle struggle struggle, we solved that problem.  Oh no, a bigger problem has now arisen!

This was not only the plot of every episode, but every season-long story too

I stayed with it because the characters were funny and likable, for the most part.

Then, in the fourth season , all the Pied Piper crew turned into JERKS!

And then - the same old ending..

That was it for me .

But, 1-3 are very good!

Well, everybody's opinions was different of course - your mileage may vary!

I liked it to the end, I thought it was funny to the end, I just didn't think the story they told after season 1 was really all that great.  Season 1 is spectacular because it was amazingly hilarious, had a cool setting and humor style, great characters, and told an interesting story with those characters.  They seemed to have never found a good overarching story to tell again.  Or rather, every time it did seem to be building to something compelling, it would inevitably all be undone before the season was over and they'd be back to underdogs again every time

For me, I can completely enjoy shows that are "just" funny and the plots don't matter at all, but Silicon Valley started with a genuine cool plot and concept and integrated it into the comedy so well, it was disappointing that that aspect wasn't consistent at all as the show went on.  Maybe if I ever rewatch it some day knowing the plot will never matter, I'll enjoy it far more.

Apropos of nothing, I've only just now realized after many years that Barnaby Jones and Barney Miller are in fact different shows.

What a surprise! This 'American Crime Story' is much better than the one about O.J. Simpson. It's very involving and this time I can't critique anything. Does that mean it's a show that will change you life or that raises the bar for other shows? No, not at all, but literally everything (direction, writing, acting) is of a high standard and nothing feels like you've seen it a thousand times before. Didn't expect that at all! Again, what a surprise!

Even Ricky Martin was good!

Are there more American Crime Stories?!

That seems like small potatoes compared to the murdering spree in Versace.
