Yeah, that article was posted on Friday, June 22nd, 2007.

EDIT-- Too slow.

I can't argue their quality, but I loved the direct to video Aladdin sequels as a kid. King of Thieves was epic.

While the direct-to-DVD sequels were almost uniformly crap, the Aladdin sequels were actually rather watchable (though they were, really, just extended episodes of an already solid television series). They don't even come close to the original, however. Lion King 1.5 is also worth seeking out.

The rest can burn in a very special section of media hell.

Poor Joel McNeely is out of work now.

He's been scoring episodes of American Dad. In fact last night's episode featured an "as close as you can get to BTTF score" as one could do without actually using Silvestri's music.

Bambi 2... was well made for a DVD sequel... it even aired in European cinemas... and the score by Broughton was nice too.

And the Lion king 2 was also nice. The score was meh... but the songs were not totally bad.

I havent seen many of the others...
