I couldn't even tell you off the top of my head who scored that one.   Good for Intrada that it sold well enough to get a second pressing

Here's what Roger posted for those who don't want to have to click through to another website

Quote

Coming in March!

A little Saturday morning cheer as we work our way through an endless winter...

Coming March 9th: Straight re-issue of MCA lp, featuring Elmer Bernstein's playful and dramatic score:

I suppose they stopped because people get overexcited and then tend to bash whatever actually comes out for no reason.

The Ten Commandments and The AVA Collection are my go to's. The Magnificent Seven is great too.

The Great Escape is mandatory.

If they're actually missing and not, as has been reported, destroyed.

Actually, they were mislabeled as mono Dracula tapes.

Oh absolutely! Both the film and the score are undisputable classics. Don’t know how this one slipped my mind.

Well maybe not " just came out...."😉

Not really, no. I've had that for a while, which is why I assumed you were talking about something else.

The Blu-ray quality is horrible, by the way. Barely better than the old non-anamorphic NTSC DVD, if at all. Certainly no indication that quality elements of *anything* exist for this film.

And Intrada has both the complete score and the OST in a bargain 3 CD set for $20! What a steal!

Considering the context of the scene, this endless loop is… disturbing.

I think that's the whole point :P

Well nothing is predictable, but we're hoping for more stuff by DeVol, Kamen, Goldsmith, Eflman, Williams, Goldsmith, Bernstein, Folk, Goldsmith, Poledouris, Zimmer. But who knows...things change rapidly!

That was Roger's list of upcoming composers that he posted in January.  Now we know four of them

DeVol - Flight of the Phoenix

Kamen - Company Business

Goldsmith - Face of a Fugitive

Bernstein - Legal Eagles

Any hopes and dreams for the others?

Seven Years in Tibet, Amistad or Hook would be lovely for Williams

And of course, I'll never say it enough: THE JOHN WILLIAMS STAR WARS COLLECTION!

THE JOHN WILLIAMS INDIANA JONES COLLECTION!

So I suppose Elfman and Williams are going to be the next in line after the new 2CD Kamen set comes out.

Looks like May will be an expensive month ie. If you also add La La Land's great lineup. 😉
