For Goldsmith or Horner that's a 1 (possibly 3 or 12 for some of them) and if it's Brazil from Michael Kamen that's also a 12.

For other I'll add a 13 option that's missing IMO: "Intrigued and waiting for some samples"

I also doubt it, since today is already his 7th Death Anniversary and it would be in bad taste to release this so soon. An ideal time for any new Horner release would be August when we celeberate his birthday !

I missed out on this and had to buy from secondary market.

Fortunately the seller had it reasonably priced- slightly above list- as EBAY/ DISCOGS were $50 and up!

I've certainly heard scores before seeing the film ( e.g. LEGEND).

But, I'm a must- see -the-film score fan.

Its mandatory.

Would they be able to while the BSX release is still in print (assuming "out of stock" just means that)? At the very least, a third disc would be overkill if they could fit it on 2 just fine. Also, I just would've bought it very recently, so I'd be slightly peeved (though ultimately glad) that a better version came out soon afterwards.

 

It'd be great if this could lead to a Molly Maguires reprint, but Charles Strouse isn't on the list, and that wasn't a long enough for even a 2nd disc!

Its TWO Albums. One of them is a film score. LIFEFORCE already has the OST program on disc 2! So there is no need for disc 3. The film just came out on 4K blu ray

 

but 2 composers! it could be Mancini & Kamen.  The Non-Film album which is implied could be the 3rd disc -could be Kamen related as well. (ie. if we remain within the 2 composers equation) Im thinking along those lines that it could be some Electric Guitar Concerto by Kamen with Eric Clapton?

I interpret the clue to mean they're releasing two albums for the same film, a rejected score album and a separate album for the used score. One is 2-CD, one is 1-CD.

 

I have no idea if any of those remaining composers from his old composer list have any known rejected scores.

There's certainly plenty of precedent for releasing an official and a rejected score together.  The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing and The River Wild spring to mind, among others I'm sure.

Do we need to start a campaign to record Arnold’s unused score? Sounds like it would have been amazing (and I have to admit that JW’s score always felt a bit less inspired than usual, fine though it is). Although there’s Jerry’s unused Babe score. Damn I need that lottery win.

(I'm not sure whether this is the original recording, which was released as a DVD extra over the main titles, or whether someone took Mancini's later re-recording of the MT and put it over the film...)

But that only has one score, by one composer. Surely they wouldn't count the songs as a separate score, and I also doubt there'd be enough of them (even with pop versions and stuff) to properly fill a standalone album.
