Wojo 2,442
I won't bother ranking these scores. I usually listen to them in sequence, but I don't feel compelled to just cut and paste TMP at the top of the list.

A lot of great material was left off both OST's, particularly for Nemesis. It took me the complete score for Nemesis to really get into it. Charlie Brigden 5
I think they get better, but I wouldn't say great. Both FC and INSURRECTION have some awesome moments, but there are some parts I find uninspired.

davros72 1
I've heard First Contact, Insurrection, and Nemesis in their expanded/"complete" form. Ranked 'em based on that. Just my Humble Opinion of course.

Wojo 2,442
I can listen to any Star Trek score and enjoy it greatly. Ranking them is a waste of time, because it implies that some are inferior to the others, and that's silly because I enjoy them all. Except IV and Generations, they are lesser scores. ST 2009 hasn't really sunk in yet. It's got a nice main theme and some good moments, but there are other moments that make me think Davey Jones' ship is going to emerge from beneath the waves. artyjeffrey 20
Wow, I'm noticing that most of you rate Star Trek V as the third best. I'm going to have to get that one out and listen to it (I bought it used, and never gave it a listen).
publicist 4,484
When i think about it, 'Insurrection', slight as it may be, is the most varied of the later Goldsmith scores, while i find 'First Contact' too directionless. 'Nemesis' is the most focused, but suffers from being a bit too arch (it has some great action cues and the ethereal 'Repairs').Apart from the 'Khan' score, which sadly sounds like shit, 'Star Trek V' is my secret favourite after the first one. It's brash, cartoony, epic - all in one and has the best credt sequence.
