Joe Brausam 214
Nino Rota's "The Godfather"Score: 4.5 starsI got a little tired of rating almost only Williams scores, so I decided to throw a score in the mix that hasn't gotten much discussion, at least around here. I personally love this score, the waltz and the love theme are both incredibly beautiful and memorable themes. The finale has to be my favorite cue, giving us resolution on all of the film's major themes and done just absolutely wonderfully. There are only a few cues that I don't care for, which bumps down my rating, but I find this to be a truly great work as a whole.Thoughts? Ollie 1,059
I give it a 3.5.The film is 5 stars but outside of the theme nothing in the music really grabbed me.

Jeshopk 8
Never loved it, but it fits the film. Almost totally unlistenable away from the film for me, except that one suspense cue. 2.
Nick Parker 3,040
I like it, but Nino Rota has done better, in my opinion.

Nick Parker 3,040
That was what first came to mind when I said that. The music was very nice contrast to the film, which I found rather dull, to be honest. I never figured out which version I disliked more, Zeffirelli's or Luhrmann's. Hanman 0
2.5The music is well-known but I just find it simply boring. I like the "love theme" though.
