I'm not making a religious statement, I'm just asking what piece of music would guarantee a composer a spot in heaven.

I've said many times that ET's Adventure on Earth makes God cry,

what is Goldsmiths, Horner's, Rozsa's, etc. Zimmer hasn't got a ticket yet, and isn't likely to.

I wonder if it takes a grandeous piece, or just a simple statement....

The Enterprise from ST:TMP surely would have gotten Goldsmith into Heaven.

But Ave Satani would have gotten him kicked out no matter what :P

Well, actually nothing that a human does in the world guarantees a ticket to heaven. It's purely God's decision.

If there's such thing as heaven, there's no bouncer.

Yes there is, his name is Peter.

Yeah but all you have to do is slip him a 20 and you're in.

But he doesn't accept dollars anymore. Only euros!
