And that's not counting David Shire's rejected score.

This and the first two Godfather scores are the only scores for Coppola films during the 70s that remain incomplete on album, for some reason

I'd love a complete release for the first Godfather movie. There is loads of great music left off the OST, especially the demanded little variation of the main theme during the iconic horse's head scene. It is one of my holy grails.

The more popular the film, the less likely it will get a proper treatment.

June titles announced:

The forecast for June begins with some Snow and then a few weeks later brings us a flurry of Williams and a dash of Horner.

June 30 may bring a possible reissue or another project, but right now we are unsure if anything will be done in time.

In any event, enjoy La-La Land's latest batch of titles!

MillenniuM Volume 2! Incredible!

And Searching for Bobby Fischer! I wonder if there's enough worthy material beyond the soundtrack.

Oh, and A.I. is kind of nice as well I guess.

Wow! This is the first month ever where I want (almost) all of the titles! Never heard the Horner score, but I'll definitely be getting all three of the others! :D

We are still waiting on a number of titles to get the final sign off on. Some of you have noticed that our catalog numbers are all over the place. That's due to some titles (a few that were supposed to come out in 2014) taking some time to be signed off on for one reason or another.

LLLCD 1331 - waiting on actor approval of image (a pet project of mine)

LLLCD 1333 - waiting on studio approval (Golden Age Classic)

LLLCD 1335 - waiting on production company approval (even though we have the record label and studio singed off on this one). Missed the anniversary last year. Very frustrating.

LLLCD 1350 - waiting on actor/director/producer approval, then studio and record company approval. MEGA HUGE IMPORTANT RELEASE!!!!!

LLLCD 1353 - waiting on studio approval (JW release)

So, we have thousands and thousands of dollars tied up with these projects and have no product to show for them yet. It's the part of this biz that can nearly break one's spirit, but we keep on truckin'.

Update on this:

AI is 1353 and Bobby is 1355

Millennium Vol 2 is 1352

Still waiting on

1331

1333

1335

1350

Might pick up Krull. Not familiar with the score at all, but I always see people speak highly of it in conjunction with Horner's body of work.

If you like Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and Cocoon, then you're at home. It's probably more old fashioned than those two, probably closer to Korngold or someone like that. Good stuff.

A couple of points for clarification:

Krull is a direct reissue of our original release several years ago. Same content as before. In May, Commando kicked off our Hornerfest we planned for this summer...followed by Bobby Fischer in June and then Krull (originally slated for June 30, now July 14). A 4th and final title was scheduled for August this year, but has now been delayed for obvious reasons. The 4th Horner title is still scheduled for this year, but as of right now we do not know when.

However, a Vinyl pressing is forthcoming for KRULL and that is planned for this FALL.

House on Sorority Row is slightly expanded, with a few extra cues added as bonus material at the end of the original presentation. One of Richard Band's greatest scores that has been OOP for many many years. It looks and sounds great!

Sum of all Fears has been out of stock for a while. Any idea when it will return?

Most likely in the Fall

When dealing with these "finished goods" releases it costs a small fortune for us to purchase restock. So, titles like

Sum of All Fears

The Fury

Sleeping with the Enemy

First Knight

Ladyhawke

Will eventually be back in stock, but not until we have an influx of cash to purchase the pricey inventory

Also, remember this?

We are still waiting on a number of titles to get the final sign off on. Some of you have noticed that our catalog numbers are all over the place. That's due to some titles (a few that were supposed to come out in 2014) taking some time to be signed off on for one reason or another.

Well we have a new update:

LLLCD 1331 is at WB now waiting final artwork sign off

LLLCD 1333 - is finally cleared and is in artwork approval stage at WB. A spectacular Golden Age title that better sell. If not, I'm coming after you Golden Age fans! ;)

LLLCD 1335 is still with the production company (going on nearly 10 months now...missed the anniversary last year)

1331 - WB... now that could be so many things. Except for The Matrix, because that's been done. I wonder how many people will think it could possibly be something to do with a young, bespectacled boy with a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead... However, it could also be something to do with a mad person... :P who knows?

I think a lot of us are eager to know what 1335 is. Without knowing which anniversary last year was, it'd be futile to guess.

Does that mean 1350 has been approved? :w00t:

LOL

Oh hell no! That will most likely be a Black Friday release. Lots of approvals on that. And, personally speaking, one of the finest releases of our nearly 14 year history!

Maybe... But then, both Varese albums are sold out/out of print now. At the moment, that is.

Karol

Varese are stubborn bastards. They absolutely will not let go of a title they own, so I doubt we'll ever see a properly expanded version of this. It's been touched on by LLL before as well. They really wanted to do the whole trilogy but couldn't.

MV said 1331 is a "pet project" of his - not a big title.

And Varese owns the right to The Matrix in perpetuity. If a complete release is in the works, its through them.

Listen to this track and decide whether you like it. It should give you a pretty good idea.

Karol

Wow, yeah, very Wrath of Khan. There's a part in the middle of that track where I expected his Trek theme to make an appearance.

Regardless...sold!

I still can't imagine what the mega huge important release - which is one of the finest releases of La-laland's nearly 14 year history - is.

At least a clue for decade?

Great news about Krull though! I should buy it now!

It's Lost in Space.

No, it isn't. 1350 is the one "waiting on actor/director/producer approval"

That's the only thing that's been said about it; Lost In Space has been discussed by a few people working on it - it's still being worked on and is expected this fall. 1350 has been done for a while and they are just waiting for approvals

I'll definitely be picking up Krull. So glad they reissued it! :)

It might be a bit overbearing in its heroic zeal but it is truly up there with his best.
