Popular Post crumbs 14,301
So two releases being announced today... but what time? It's 10.30am on Feb 2 for me. I'm always hooked waiting to hear LLL's announcements... I wasn't born on the fourth of July but I still consider myself a patriot of film scores. That said, if I have to wait much longer, I'll be taking the Sugarland Express to JFK and catching the first flight to Munich. At that point, you'll have to catch me if you can, I guess. At least I bought a copy of The Amistad Rebellion to read while waiting in the terminal. Jay, Smeltington, Chewy and 3 others 1
Bayesian 1,359
It’s only 4:00 pm of the 1st here in California. I reckon they’re going to wait another 17-20 hours or so. Alas. Richard Penna 3,672
Hard Rain is a decent thriller score with some Americana - I always liked the main title cue, and a few other highlights, from seeing the film. Young's OST album suffers from the typical moving tracks around, and some alternate stuff. I'll likely pick that one up. crumbs 14,301
Possible good news on some of delayed titles from further back in their catalog: Quote Any updates on LLLCDs 1504, 1527, 1540 and 1550? I know this is a nosy question, but for some reason I feel bold enough to ask. Must be that TGIF feeling! yes I guess these are older titles stuck awaiting approvals. Have they disclosed what any of the titles might be? They're currently up to 1556 (Hard Rain). Mike mentioned in the WOTW podcast he wrote 3 Williams liner notes in a row back late 2019 (The River, Far and Away, and "something that hasn't come out yet") so maybe that's 1540. For reference, Far and Away was 1533. Holko and Amer

Popular Post Bounty95 557
MV on FSM: Quote If all goes well that 2020 backlog of delayed projects will be unclogged soon and a wealth of top titles will be seeing the light of day soon. In the meantime we will do our damnedest to get more Harry Potter sets produced. It's not sold out. I repeat ITS NOT SOLD OUT...just OUT OF STOCK. Its just a pricey endeavor to make the packaging and manufacture the 7 cds at a third party finished goods rate, but we should have some more in stock by Summer. I think Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea 4 cd set is getting low though and that WILL BE SOLD OUT once they are gone, so if you want one, now is the time to buy. There is a slight delay on The World is Not Enough. The plant can't seem to find the paper so we are having more printed up now. Look for that to start shipping by months end. Same with Romancing the Stone and Invaders...delays on those have to deal with an industry wide short supply of poly-carbonate materials at the cd plant for the moment. We hope to have some new releases first week or two of March. After that, fingers crossed, a great flood shall wash upon the soundtrack marketplace unlike ever before...at least for a period of time.
