Also the slim possibility of album sessions turning up and having unreleased suites JW didn't use for the OST. Any extra music would require a third disc anyway. Great to see the labels keeping these quality expansions in print for new generations of fans. But it begs the question: have the AFM changed their rules on reissues? Why do Intrada need to remove all the bonus tracks from Jaws (1975) to re-release that score, yet LLL can release another 5000 units of E.T. Agreed. Or better still, go to JW and ask if they can include more source cues this time around, in order to reissue the score? JW strikes me as reasonably pragmatic with these decisions. You'd think he'd tick off a few extra tracks if the only alternative was gutting the previous release. 11 minutes ago, Jay said: I'd be down for a new edition of Jaws that integrates Typewriter Chord into the main program and moves From Bad To Worse into the bonus track section Why can't they just move all the bonus tracks from disc 1 to disc 2, and change the order a little? Jay 37,359
For CE3K all I can think of is some clean openings/endings. I literally can't think of anything recorded for that film that isn't on the set. I guess maybe if Williams was involved in the chanting of the 5 note theme in the India scene? Oh, and the "Inside" cue from 1980 had wrong take(s) released on the Pops in Space album, while the LLL set only has the same performance edit as used in the film. For ET, I likewise can't think of anything recorded that isn't on the set, unless the "Adventure on Earth" concert version was recorded at the album sessions (but that burned up in the Universal fire if it was). And again there are some wrong takes released on the 1996 and 2002 editions. enderdrag64

Corellian2019 386
To be honest, only obsessive completists like me will notice the (inconsequential) tidbits missing from an otherwise excellent and comprehensive set, but from memory and from Jay's spreadsheet, what was left off was: -an alternate take of "Watching The Skies" -the full ending of the 6m4a "note demo", heard only in the SE version when the audience stands up and claps after Lacombe's presentation -the orchestral overlay for 14m4 5 hours ago, Jay said: On the podcast you're referring to Mike discussed listening to the raw takes of every cue recorded for CE3K on Superbowl Sunday 2017, and how interesting it was to hear all the various things they were trying out with the choir.
