Also I wanted to ask if a "Dune" (1984) release is now less or more likely due to new film-version at the end of this year? Would love to see both happen MV Quote Quote Any chance for a release of The War of the Roses ? HOFFA and The Sandlot are amazing releases. Have a good day! Not even on our radar MV Quote Quote Is there any chance to release the original score from COBRA by Sylvester Levay ? Thank You! Would love to some day, but its WB MV Quote Quote Any chance Innerspace and Black Rain will get a re-issue? Anything is possible Quote Quote Will [Star Trek Enterprise Volume 2] be back in stock at some point? Yes august Quote Quote Is a CD release of Bear McCreary's wonderful score to RIM OF THE WORLD in any pipelines you might be laying? Or any more Bear Mc in general forthcoming? I have no clue Quote Quote I failed to get the Superman TAS boxed set. I'm hoping LLL will reprint it and Lost in Space someday. No to both Quote Quote Sorry, did ‘No’ also include any more Superman TAS in the future? Thanks No plans to reprint either set MV Quote Quote After the excellent release of Sliver any chance of Single White Female, another fine early 90's Shore score. And what about an expanded edition of Elliot Goldenthal's Final Fantasy, one of EG's rare non-WB titles No plans for either and looking at the sales of silver wouldn't release self sadly Quote Quote I also hope for one more Superman TAS box set. They did sell all of the first one. I don’t think they sold the full print run of 3000. I think it was closer to half. Yeah about half Quote Quote Is there any chance for Grusin's THE FIRM 2CD re-release ? I missed the 2015' 2-discs edition frown No chance in hell lol MV Quote Quote Is Paramount still as open as they have been in recent years? Yes Quote Quote Any chance of a Macgyver (original series) set? on hold Quote Quote I missed The Phantom, and as I strongly suspect it won't get a repressing from yourselves... you don't happen to have a spare new copy sat on a shelf somewhere that I could buy do you? ) Nothing left here Unfortunately this magnificent score didn't sell as well as we had hoped. Really shocked me. We sold what we had didn't repress and contract has expired. MV Quote Quote Is La-La Land planning a Black Friday batch of exciting titles for 2020, or has the pandemic caused a shift more towards "we'll just release things as they get approved instead of saving titles for certain dates"? crumbs 8165
Not the most optimistic sounding replies from MV. It can't be helpful that some studios have closed their vaults, especially if LLL were deep in negotiations on acquiring certain scores. Withholding big releases until Black Friday, if signed off and ready for printing, must be quite the conundrum. It might make more sense to release titles as soon as approvals are complete, financially.
