Jay 17580
Remember back when MV posted this: Quote Current studios that are in play for rest of 2020 are (not to say we aren't working with WB and MGM for 2021 titles) Fox/Disney Paramount Sony Universal Due to the pandemic approvals are slow Hopefully this will rectify itself in 2021 and we will be able to get some exciting titles out In the meantime we hope to have some really great stuff out Dec 1 (our Black Friday batch). As of right now we have no idea what will be approved in time. We've done our part...its up to the approval Gods to answer our prayers (No crazy pricey box sets though so you can rule that out) MV He added clarification: Quote Quote When you included "Fox/Disney" in the list of studios you were expecting releases from this year, does that imply you guys could do scores from films released by Disney Pictures, or are you exclusively talking about films that were Fox originally? Fox Also, he posted this Quote Quote Exactly 2 months away from the Black Friday announcement! It might be scaled back from previous years but I am sure it will still be a stellar set of releases as always from LLL. No it wont be so dont get worked up over it. Just stop. Jay 17580
His exact quote was Quote we hope to have some really great stuff out Dec 1 (our Black Friday batch). We've done our part...its up to the approval Gods to answer our prayers (No crazy pricey box sets though so you can rule that out) MV oh and now he's clarified that last statement Quote No it's not going to be a stellar set of releases. They will be good if we get approved in time but nothing jaw dropping. No Harry Potter set or Jurassic Park or Lethal weapon or Paramount Western set. Good solid releases that we hope folks like. MV ~ 42 minutes ago, ATXHusker said: Didn’t MV say last year to not get excited about the BF releases? I seem to remember that but hey we got the disaster set! Hence if an OST contains any alternate sections, they have to replace them for the FYC. The War Horse FYC for example, is full of film versions of cues - it was a revelation at the time. bruce marshall

I thought they just released them for every batch (meaning the Oct 6 flyer wouldn't be dependent on whether the Oct 28 batch gets approved). That's what I was saying earlier, there really is no "now" structure. For some period of time, maybe a stretch of a couple years, something like that, they routinely put out a flier near the beginning of each month showing what they were going to release that month, typically split between two different weeks within the month. That format eventually fell away, as approvals became a more and more delayed and nebulous process. Now, they sometimes are able to post a flier of titles for the month, however many months do not have one at all, and we simply find out what they are going to release by MV posting it to FSM and Faceobok as text, or sometimes we only find out when the email goes out the night before with all the information. EDIT: You're right, at least once they did do separate fliers in a month, one flier for each batch of titles. This means there are 3 possibilities of how we'll find out what the Oct 6 titles are 1) A graphic flier will be posted to Facebook, sometime today, tomorrow, or Friday showing the cover art of each title; We'll get the tracklists in the normal announcement email late on Monday October 5 2) MV will list the titles in text form in a Facebook post some time today, tomorrow, or Friday; We'll get the cover art and tracklists in the normal announcement email late on Monday October 5 3) We'll get no head's up at all; We'll learn what the titles are as we get the cover art and tracklists in the normal announcement email late on Monday October 5 Smaug The Iron, Amer and Chewy

Jay 17580
Ranked solely in order of the amount of unreleased music (that we know about), I think the order is Hook Amistad WOTW Always The Terminal CMIYC But in Hook's case I meant "unreleased" in terms of "was not on the OST"; Now that the LLL edition exists there's only a small amount of music unreleased that you can hear in the film and/or boots, so I guess it depends on how many song demos or other unknown things were recorded to figure out where on the list it would fall. it is pretty spectacular how many Spielberg/Williams collaborations Mike has gone through! Though for me the Indiana Jones scores are personally much more desirable to have done by him than all these other remaining ones, even with the Concord box existing. I just love them so much! I hope Mike gets to do all 4 of those PLUS all 6 scores on this list of course - and then the post-2005 scores and Sugarland, also! Yavar Moradi
