ATXHusker 615
It's a great show that stays true to the heart of the original movies. I highly recommend it. I won't spoil anything, but there's a scene in season 3 that's in the same fictional location as the original movie, and the same cheesy 80's song is played. Brought a smile to my face. bruce marshall 511
No. I'm a SERIOUS martial artist. But, they had many flashbacks in that first season. The script of the tv show was filled with unlikable characters, contrived plot twists, and nonsensical fight and teaching scenes. Compare CK to something like BUFFY- which deals with high school in a respectful way
ATXHusker 615
Well you should really watch the original movies and then go back and watch CK. If I had never seen the movies I'd definitely have a different opinion of the show.
bruce marshall 511
Nah. The clips told the whole story. It sets up the premise of the tv version very effectively. Besides, the tv show isn't the movie. It has to stand on its own. It's not a quality production.

Jay 18395
Because it costs a lot of money to order 500 CDs from a pressing plant, and these specialty labels have razor thin margins on all the products they sell. They often have to literally wait until they have enough profit from a successful title to be able to order more copies of existing titles This is why the best thing we can do to help these labels stay in business is buy titles directly from them as often as they can, as they get more money from the sale than if you purchased from a third party like Screen Archives or Movie Music Yavar Moradi

They offer all the titles at one place (some used CDs too), the shipping fees are..well... they are in US dollars. But I always had a great service from them. It's simply more simple for me.
Jay 18395
I completely understand all that and it doesn't change anything I said. It's just a fact that if you buy a title directly from LLL they get more revenue than if you buy it from anyone else.
Bespin 4285
That's clear, as all the titles usually are at the same price everywhere. Are you aware of the US-CAN exchange rate? This is a LUXURY to order CDs in US money for me!!! The last order costed me 300 $CAN (45 $CAN just for the shipping!)!!! And for only 8 releases!!! bruce marshall

Popular Post Bespin 4285
But I have a good job, and music is really one of the last things I really love on this earth. So, it is what it is. Popular Post Jay 18395
It's amazing how many classic scores in big film studio's vaults only get transferred from rotting analog tape onto perfect digital only because a tiny specialty label asks for a license to release the music for sale. Bespin 4285
Money, Money, Money. It's the only thing that matters for the great labels (Sony, Universal). I know, I've collaborated in some Aznavour latest Universal France releases.... Well at least, now they have an "ear" for us now, THE FANS. I told them, release what you want, but can you let me hear the material before you release it? I will easily told you if it's the right version or an alt one! Hehe. They understood I think. I'm really, really, really proud to support Speciality labels, because I know they don't do it for money. Bayesian

Popular Post crumbs 8398
Imagine if LLL didn't pursue new expansions for Superman for the 40th Anniversary? They wouldn't have discovered the first-gen multitracks were found and gathering dust in some storage room. Or if they hadn't spent years asking around for the lost Alien 3 masters, maybe they wouldn't have been called when the digital masters turned up?
