JTWfan77 808
Why can't I seem to download high-res covers from LLL site product pages? Ever since they changes their site a few years ago this has been an issue for me. Am I doing something wrong?
Jay 18442
Works fine for me For example: https://lalalandrecords.com/the-orville-season-2-2-cd-set/ On that page is red text that says "CLICK HERE to view the hi-res cover art". Click that and a giant cover opens. I can right click it and Save As.
JTWfan77 808
Ok so it's only available for the newer releases? I can't find that red link on the Fletch Lives page, for example. But when I hover on the art I can "scroll-zoom" it but still cannot save it. The Orville S1 page also does not have the link.
Jay 18442
Right, they never made any high res art available on their website until recently For all their older stuff though, you can just scroll backwards through their Facebook page until you find it https://www.facebook.com/lalalandrecords
JTWfan77 808
Don't use Facebook, guess I'm stuffed.
Jay 18442
You don't need an account to view their page, its open to anyone They should all be on their twitter too https://twitter.com/LaLaLandRecords
Koray Savas 1777
Or just use Album Art Exchange.

Or if it's (inexplicably) unavailable in your country, upload a lower res pic into Google and if there's a higher res version around, it'll find it.

Jay 18442
Quote Quote Quote I understand that some of the fantastic big Black Friday titles which didn't make the schedule in 2020 due to late approvals etc but we were told them to expect in the first Qtr of 2021. Any idea if we can expect them soon? No. What he said MV https://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=118900&forumID=1&archive=0&pageID=40&r=664#bottom Holko
Jay 18442
According to this post on the Intrada board, MV had posted publicly somewhere that Glory by James Horner and Gladiator by Zimmer were supposed to come out on Black Friday but got delayed? http://www.intrada.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=83488#p83488 He's just making that up right? We would have talked about news like that here if a post like that existed
bollemanneke 1759
I wouldn't buy Gladiator. Most cues need the movie to work. Although one comprehensive release would be very welcome given the idiotic album situation. Tom Guernsey
A. A. Ron 420
Yep, definitely making it up. Any hint of a new expansion of Gladiator would have made more waves.
Edmilson 1766
How much music is missing for Glory? I thought the OST was pretty much complete anyway.
mstrox 4118
I'd probably buy an expanded Gladiator if that day ever comes. It'll be what I wanted when I picked up the More Music album, instead of what I got! bollemanneke
Yavar Moradi 582
1 hour ago, Edmilson said: How much music is missing for Glory? I thought the OST was pretty much complete anyway. Nope! It was one of Horner’s shorter OSTs. There’s at least 15 minutes missing, maybe more. Some people have it ripped from I think a region 2 isolated score track though. Plus from the Omni Publications written score it looks like there are alternates. Yavar Edmilson and Tom Guernsey
Edmilson 1766
Thanks. Let's hope they get to release the expansion then!
Richard Penna 1316
Gladiator is spectacularly overdue. The OST, while a good, compact listening experience, only contains about half the score. bruce marshall

Once I believe in 2005, then again last year.

Popular Post crumbs 8406
So two releases being announced today... but what time? It's 10.30am on Feb 2 for me. I'm always hooked waiting to hear LLL's announcements... I wasn't born on the fourth of July but I still consider myself a patriot of film scores. That said, if I have to wait much longer, I'll be taking the Sugarland Express to JFK and catching the first flight to Munich. At that point, you'll have to catch me if you can, I guess. At least I bought a copy of The Amistad Rebellion to read while waiting in the terminal. Jay, ATXHusker, Holko and 3 others 1
Bayesian 627
It’s only 4:00 pm of the 1st here in California. I reckon they’re going to wait another 17-20 hours or so. Alas. Unless they’re looking to do a midnight announcement. Then it’s just 8 hours’ wait. crumbs
