Jay recalled a large handful of prior batches that were sans-Williams, so I think your answer is that expecting *anything* is unwise. I certainly think it's a tad obtuse to suggest that expecting a Williams is notably wrong, but we don't have any recent comments by Mike or the labels to specifically inform our hopes and dreams.

 

I don't even see any reasoning to tie a score like The Terminal to LLL, actually. Why couldn't Intrada be involved?

Honestly, I don’t think LLL will be able to top 2013’s Black Friday for me.

 

That Lethal Weapon box set blew me away! That was the best announcement ever.

 

I was just as pumped for Braveheart in 2015. Then 2023 had HOOK, Sneakers, AND The Mask of Zorro?

 

It’s home run after home run as far as I’m concerned. LaLaLand kills it every Black Friday.

If by some miracle Supergirl is ever redone, I look forward to reassessing it. I doubt it or KSM will ever be Top 50 Goldsmith for me, but I'm completely open to being won over with a new and better-sounding program.

This is why I wasn’t upset with LLL’s announcement of fewer titles this Black Friday. Made my own Black Friday assortment of Goldsmith, Williams, Barry and Elfman. A nice variety I think.  Had 20% off from the FSM Kickstarter that stacked on LLL’s 15% off, so yay!

Am I using the term correctly? It accepted the coupon on top of the already discounted 12%. 
 

The total of the full retail price was $127.92. So it looks like they took 20% off the full retail price ($22.51) and as a separate discount took 12% off the full retail price ($15.36).

LLLCD1640 - other titles near this number came out around Black Friday 2023 or early 2024

I got 8, 9 if you count the Clue reissue that I already had.  The 3 Bond CD releases, 2 JW releases, Gladiator, Dark Crystal, and Friday the 13th.  Would have waited for the CD for Wednesday had I known it was coming.  My kid is Wednesday-obsessed.

I only got Dark Crystal and Reivers and currently waiting for Thunderball to finally get its ass dragged over to Intermezzo. Black Sunday is great but I have the FSM and it's nowhere near a big enough upgrade to double dip.

Pretty slow year for me but I could focus on/catch up on some older releases that were on their last legs and I for some reason overlooked originally!

If that's the case I might just go ahead and buy the one album I'm interested in, instead of waiting for a new release and hoping for a less expensive combined shipment.

Hymn to Red October and Nuclear Scam are essential cues. I play them more than anything from the other Jack Ryan scores.
