I dunno about Amazon, but I linked to three places above you can buy it from.

EDIT: Oh, check out the end of that FSM thread I linked to - a post from "moviescore" indicates the CD didn't come out until Sep 4th, so there was indeed a big delay!

Are you saying that Alice enjoys all the audio delights of snaps, crackles and pops of LPs? I already refrained from listening to them when it was still unfashionable!

Vinyl is where it's at, yo.

What is? Fault?

Ass! Fool!

So fool and ass are in the vinyl? Just confirms my suspicions.

Alledged?

Alleged. Typos galore tonight. But yes I am not that much of an audiophile so they could claim to be using any kind of technology in the recording (like that Sony's 20 bit technology they advertise on every JW compilation) and I would have no idea if that was indeed true.

Got Jaws: The Collector's Edition for €9.99. I only saw the film for the first time a few months back. Listening to the score on its own right now and it really is a masterpiece (which I'm sure you are all aware of).

Titanic: Anniversary Edition (the 2 disc version).

I returned home from my trip to LA two weekends ago with a VERY LARGE amount of film score CDs! Let's see:

PICKED UP AT LA-LA LAND'S OFFICES

Bear McCreary - The Best of Battlestar Galactica

Phew! I'm just glad I was able to fit it all in my suitcase!

Never heard of this. What exactly is it?

That haul of yours must be one of the biggest ever for a 'civilian'.

After the show ended, they put together a nice coffee table book for the cast and crew full of pictures of and stories from everyone who worked on the show, across all departments. The neat thing was they cut the corners off it like the paper in the show :) Also included attached to the back cover was a "Best of BSG" CD assembled by Bear McCreacy, something like 79:58 of his personal favorite cues from the 4 seasons.

I found a few pics of the book online:

http://www.yourprops.com/Cast-Crew-Yearbook-original-film-crew-items-Battlestar-Galactica-TV-2003-YP43647.html

I can post the track list of the CD if you like, you can assemble it from the existing 4 season soundtracks.

I'd forgotten all about this. Any chance of posting this Jay? No problem if you don't have it to hand.

I just took advantage of La La Land's 25% off sale to buy 4 titles that retailed for $20, are marked down to $16 BEFORE discount, making them $12 each after the 25% off sale:

Nathan Johnson - Looper

Jerry Goldsmith - Stagecoach

James Newton Howard - Dave

Alan Silvestri - The Bodyguard

Not a bad haul for $48 + shipping!
