Which online store?

The major Norwegian CD store that's left, platekompaniet.no. Now the special discount has ended, so the price has increased to $44 + shipping. Still much cheaper than elsewhere, though. :) And their packaging is much sturdier than Amazon's!

I've been meaning to get more of Carlos Kleiber's DG recordings. Now I'm only missing his Tristan.

You can never go wrong with Pinnock in baroque repertoire... and I needed some more Janacek in my collection.

I love Naxos' series of early jazz music. It's made with such care and quality remastering.

Say hello to the cool Bach, CPE. And last, I've finally gotten The Post, despite of the high pitched clicks.

You maniacs! You blew it up! Agh, damn you! Damn you all to hell!

Regarding @JTWfan77's recent selection: I can say with complete honesty, that there isn't a score in that haul that I would not be proud to have, in my collection.

The horns on this have probably never been matched. And it has Janowitz. Essential, even if the opera itself is a bit on the simplistic side from a modern point of view.

Let's have @hornist or @Marc confirm that!

Horner had a good 2001 year (these two plus Enemy at the Gates).

Shore. And deservedly so.

I love Enemy at the Gates! It’s like Danger Motif the Score! 😂

Not as good. In fairness, he did a good job with the time he had.

EatG has a great Soviet texture.

I like it. For some reason it works for me. Having said that, the complete score is a disappointment as the third of the score is a glorified synth mock-up with some solo woodwinds, percussion and vocals mixed on top. Pretty much all the orchestral score was already on the original album.

How is this one?

Don't know yet, except for the two tracks that are available on Spotify, which sound good. The album will be released in a few days, and it should contain the new arrangement of Han Solo and the Princess!

No composer is credited on the cover, so no.

It's by Alan Parker - the dude that did Jaws 3-D (a score I adore). The score in the film didn't really make my ears perk up as it's typical post-2000s action electronica with orchestra, but perhaps I need to re-evaluate it?

Hope the latter arrives in a better condition than your Potter box did :(

Yeah I really hope so. But then again LLL customer service is awesome and they would probably send me a replacement if something like the outer box was damaged. :)
