Ollie 859
http://www.cinemusic.net/2009/11/06/danny-elfman-no-longer-howling-the-wolf-man-soundtrack/Based on what I can gather, the film sucks, Elfman is too busy to re-score and a new, cheaper composer is hired. Nick Parker 3,017
Awww, I was looking forward to this. Maybe he is too busy with Houdini as well as Alice in Wonderland?
Diego 21
A pity, as I was looking forward to it since it was announced. Oh well, we might still hear the music one day. I'm hoping Alice will be really good.
Koray Savas 2,095
Wow, this would have probably been some great classic Elfman. Now I have no interest in the film cause it looks awful.
Charlie Brigden 5
They should've just let Benicio direct it, after all its his dream project and it's possible he's the reason the film keeps getting messed around. I don't think it looks awful by a long shot, some of it looks pretty neat and certainly has the atmosphere of the Universals, at least from the trailers I've seen. Still, it'll be hard for any film to come close to Waggner and Siodmak's masterpiece.
Richard Penna 2,082
I'm not surprised the film supposedly sucks. The last truly good movie I saw from him was Jumanji.
crocodile 6,294
I never cared about the film. But this is really unfortunate. I hate this year in film music.Karol
Richard Penna 2,082
Yeah, very few standout scores this year. Terminator Salvation is good, but a lot of the action material is just filler to my ears. After seeing the film, I can see why...
