Miguel Andrade 964
In 1980, BBC prepared a documentary called "Star Wars: Music by John Williams". It was presented back then, running for about a hour. Half of it is about Star Wars, and included bits of Empire Strikes Back recording sessions, and the other half is about Williams other work, including footage from his own home, playing music with a singer. In 1983, an US network (ABC, but I'm not sure)showed the 15 minute long "Music of the Jedi", concerning mostly Williams work on the Star Wars saga.In 1998, PBS had a 30 minute long special on Williams' Seven for Luck song cycle, were he discussed the music with poet Rita Dove.If those aren't documentaries, then I don't know what they are. fommes 126
Oh, I remember seeing the first two parts, on Yared and Jarre. They were pretty ok, if I remember correctly.
