I don't remember what they say, but there's a page listing all the tracks with their recording dates, a 4 page essay about Herrmann and the score by Christopher Husted, 3 pages of Producer's Notes, and a 10 page essay "The Story" which is both a plot synopsis and a track by track analysis. And many of the photos and film stills have captions describing them.

The first one would have another chance to get truly completion - maybe the elements turned up surprisingly. The second one is already complete, but would benefit from a sonic update and the third one has obviously stuff missing. Three CDs for $50 - I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Jay 37,363
AFAIK for The Omen the OST album was already the same takes as the film so you can just remove tracks from either expansion to end up with the OST program (other than the fact that Safari Park was edited down)

Yavar Moradi 2,599
I could’ve sworn I’d heard for years that there were (at least) four cues still missing from The Final Conflict. What I had argued for years ago on the boards (before the original Omen was further expanded with the Anniversary Edition) was a full franchise release including definitive versions of all FIVE Omen scores — the two not by Goldsmith I believe Varese controls in perpetuity since they released the original albums: 1. The Omen (expanded to complete form, as basically happened on its own) 2. Damien: Omen II (remastered/restored with new technology which can hopefully rescue the damaged film recording better) 3. The Final Conflict (with the four missing cues) 4. Omen IV: The Awakening by Jonathan Sheffer (expanded to complete-as-recorded — this is quality music even if not on Goldsmith’s level; it was treated very poorly in the film and much went unused) 5. The Omen by Marco Beltrami (I think this is really excellent work and would love an official complete edition, though it might not have a ton of sales potential on its own.) The only scores I wouldn’t want a separate OST presentation are scores where it’s already presented as-is, with the new cues added as bonus tracks (see: SPR, Schindler’s, Dick Tracy, etc.). To me, any definitive presentation of a score would also present the listening program. i know the point of these things is to make money and to present the new music, so I don’t begrudge the labels for NOT always including the OST. Certainly the addition of an additional disc, if it would come to that, makes any release more expensive to put together and a tougher sell. I’m just talkin’ my preference. Popular Post Brundlefly 2,385
I don't want to spend extra money for an OST presentation in addition to the complete score, when there are no substantially different takes, alternates, edits, overlays or whatever would justify that.
