The film won't be a Second Coming or anything but, to be quite honest, things like 2001 were accused of similar things. Now, I'm not comparing it to Nolan, that would have been ridiculous. But the certain pomposity of concepts like this, especially if given huge budget like this, always inspires such comments. It's almost inherent to this genre, really. Pomposity, that is. I know little of the tone and style of the movie, other than I've been expecting it to be deadly serious and utterly humourless, being a Nolan film, Nah, my own reservations lay in my non belief in the Nolan hype, that's all.
