02:47 - 02:52. Always loved the crazy random strings 'insert' of this barnstorming action cue and tonight, after consuming an amount of ale, I thought it would be good and kind of me to share my thoughts with you. I realise that elsewhere (on other album releases) this cue comes under a different name, but tonight I'm listening to the first cd release, because it was the first I grabbed hold of, and why not? It's a good slimline representation of the score.

It's funny how this cue rarely gets a mention, when discussing JW's greatest moments.

Hah, I was just listening to this not more than 10 minutes ago. Yep, bloody brilliant stuff. One moment of infinite joys to be found in this score.

Oh I love these "Listen to that great part at...." posts :)

Especially when there is a convenient YT link to listen right away :)

Yeah that's great stuff. One in return. I love that part from 0:17-0:31 on One Barrel Chase.

I would have no idea how to comment on what he's doing, with music lingo.

But there are so many great moments like that in the Jaws & CEO3K works :)

I haven't had to pass Basic Seamanship in a while. You didn't say how short you wanted it.

Sea Attack Number One is freakin' awesome and here's why:

The "bridge" theme with the harp at 0.35. Well not this version, the film version ( 0.55 in Man Against Beast)

To me this is one of the most haunting scenes in any film, when the shark passes by the boat for the first time. The music is perfect to point out it is an almost mythical, supernatural creature they are dealing with.

Jaws is one of the great JW listen experiences. I love driving to it, but I love laying in the dark and listen to it best.

I love that passage with the xylophone hits! The first two remind me of two xylophone hits from "The Jungle Chase". I don't remember the part exactly...
