HunterTech 987
Admittedly: how often do people performing in an orchestra actually look happy or at least seem invested in the material? A lot of what I've seen just have the performers very focused on playing their instruments and not much else. Admittedly, I haven't actually seen much concert performances in video form, so it could just be what I happened to see. Anyway, really dig the suite Toothless posted! Shows how much there actually is to their music when arranged for real instruments.

HunterTech 987
If its more stuff like what they did with Jay Z on that unused credits track, I think I'm good. I think this particular video is a much better showing of the behind the scenes for the music, especially with how much the duo rely on collaborations (as well as trusted associates) for their projects: Arpy
crumbs 14,303
I agree with the director! Disney should be looking at new revenue streams and all this existing music (earning them nothing in vault) is a great way to do it. This and Star Wars expansions would be very lucrative releases, financially! Arpy

TSMefford 1,509
This is simply a re-release compilation of the OST and all the various bonus tracks that were originally released separately in the Special Edition, Amazon MP3, iTunes, and Vinyl. There is nothing new on this release unless you do not have the various bonus tracks and is not actually "complete" in terms of what is in the film. Popular Post Jay 37,299
A guy on FSM says this: Quote I bought this immediately after seeing it on HDTracks. It's 24/44 and definitely a major improvement in sound over the original CD release. The orchestra has a more natural and defining sound with greater separation between instruments and the electronic synthesizers. The dynamics are excellent. The extra tracks from Sea of Simulation to Sunrise Prelude were previously released on the Collector's Digital EP and were mixed differently than the original album, making for a jarring listening experience when combined with the original album. That is not an issue on this release. The final two tracks Father and Son and Outlands Pt II are the only pieces that I've not seen released before. It's nice to finally have everything all together. Thor 7,472
No expansion needed, the OST flows beautifully like a breeze. But I'm glad this score has....uhm, scored so well with film music fans that are predominantly orchestral buffs. It's had a great crossover effect over the last decade. To "regular folks" too. Smeltington 1,436
The bonus tracks are great, this release seems ideal to me. I checked out the other unreleased tracks when they first came out, but found them too insubstantial to bother with. I might end up buying this new version, hirezzed. Arpy 4,145
'Substantial' is a loaded term - there are a few pieces not presented on the 'Complete Edition' plus the Tron/Scherzo source music.
