John Takis 224
“Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can’t wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019,” said Alan Horn, Chairman, The Walt Disney Studios, in a news release. “It’s rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.” One source: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/disney-announces-fifth-indiana-jones-875794 Discuss! At any rate, even IF he were unable to score the film -- for whatever reason -- I can't imagine his themes not being used. Pieter Boelen 744
Spielberg and Ford? Excellent! Bring it on! Just give me a movie with less stupid stuff than the last one (nor ANY aliens!). Coming up with an acceptable Indiana Jones story is not rocket science. I won't ask for "earth-shatteringly brilliant" here. I'd settle for adequate and fun. That's my benchmark, and recent footage of Williams shows him in good shape. 5 minutes ago, Luke Skywalker said: I hope this does not conflict with star wars score wise. Jay 39,155
WIll any Summer 2019 films shuffle around because of this? Here's how summer 2019 looks as of right now: April 5 - Shazam (DC Comics) April 19 - Fast and Furious 9 (Universal) May 3 - Avengers 4 (Disney) May 24 - Star Wars 9 (Disney) June 14 - Justice League 2 (DC Comics) June 21 - The Incredibles 2 (Disney) June 28 - Transformers 6 (Paramount) July 12 - The Inhumans (Disney) July 19 - Indiana Jones 5 (Disney) I can't imagine Disney will keep ALL of that scheduled for the same summer. crumbs 14,696
The Hollywood Reporter article states that Lucas has no input whatsoever in this film. Bloody good news and, as said earlier, there's no excuses for Spielberg now. No stupid aliens, titles or ideas.
